HydraGenesis

HydraGenesis combines two complementary technologies — HydraFacial and Laser Genesis — to improve skin health both at the surface and within the deeper layers of the skin.

Whilst many treatments focus on either surface appearance or deeper regeneration, HydraGenesis was developed to address both.

The result is skin that feels cleaner, healthier and more hydrated immediately, whilst supporting the collagen production and skin function that contribute to long-term skin quality.

Rather than focusing solely on correction, HydraGenesis is designed to improve overall skin health. It refines, hydrates and supports renewal in a way that is progressive, natural and biologically respectful.

It is particularly suited to patients who want visible improvement without aggressive intervention or downtime.

What Can HydraGenesis Help Improve?

HydraGenesis may be beneficial for:

  • Dull or tired-looking skin
  • Uneven texture
  • Congested or enlarged pores
  • Diffuse redness
  • Early signs of ageing
  • Loss of skin resilience
  • Dehydrated skin
  • Compromised skin barrier function

It is often chosen by patients who prioritise long-term skin health rather than dramatic short-term change.

Why Combine HydraFacial and Laser Genesis?

Many treatments focus either on the surface of the skin or the deeper layers beneath.

HydraGenesis was developed to address both.

HydraFacial improves skin clarity, hydration and surface health, whilst Laser Genesis supports collagen production, microcirculation and long-term skin function.

Together, they create a treatment that helps the skin look brighter immediately whilst supporting healthier, stronger and more resilient skin over time.

In our skin booster philosophy, fibroblasts are the collagen-producing plants within the garden of your skin.

After all, healthy plants should look vibrant.

Healthy skin should too.

Whilst BabyGLOW™ helps the skin look healthier, brighter and more luminous, Laser Genesis supports the deeper processes responsible for long-term skin quality and resilience.

Together, they help the skin both look healthy and function well.

Ideally, we want both.

FAQs

HydraGenesis or the 2D Facial?

Many patients ask which treatment is most appropriate.

In simple terms:

HydraGenesis focuses on surface health, hydration and skin quality.

The 2D Facial focuses on colour and quality by combining LimeLight IPL and Laser Genesis.

If your primary concerns are pigmentation, sun damage or redness, the 2D Facial may be more appropriate.

If your concerns relate more to hydration, texture, congestion, barrier function and overall skin health, HydraGenesis may be the better choice.

Your consultation will help determine which approach is most appropriate for your skin.

How Does HydraGenesis Work?

HydraGenesis is performed in two structured stages.

Step 1: HydraFacial – Surface Refinement

HydraFacial deeply cleanses, exfoliates and hydrates the skin using advanced vortex technology.

This stage:

  • Removes surface debris and dead skin cells
  • Clears congestion
  • Improves hydration
  • Infuses antioxidant-rich serums
  • Improves clarity and luminosity

This creates the ideal foundation for the second stage of treatment.

(You can learn more about HydraFacial as a standalone treatment on our dedicated HydraFacial page.)

Step 2: Laser Genesis – Deeper Skin Renewal

Laser Genesis delivers gentle, non-ablative laser energy into the deeper layers of the skin without damaging the skin surface.

This controlled heating effect:

  • Stimulates collagen production
  • Improves microcirculation
  • Reduces low-grade redness
  • Supports healthier skin function
  • Strengthens the skin's underlying structure

Rather than resurfacing the skin, Laser Genesis encourages gradual internal renewal and long-term improvement in skin quality.

What Makes HydraGenesis Different?

HydraGenesis does not primarily focus on pigmentation, sun damage or vascular lesions.

Instead, it supports:

  • Skin hydration
  • Barrier integrity
  • Texture refinement
  • Collagen stimulation
  • Skin resilience
  • Overall skin quality

For patients whose primary concern is pigmentation or vascular change, the 2D Facial may be more appropriate.

HydraGenesis sits slightly differently within our treatment portfolio. It focuses on improving how the skin functions, not simply how it looks.

What Does Treatment Feel Like?

The treatment is comfortable and suitable for most skin types.

During treatment:

  • HydraFacial feels cleansing, cooling and refreshing
  • Laser Genesis feels warm and gentle

No anaesthetic is required and most patients find the treatment highly relaxing.

Is There Any Downtime?

Downtime is minimal.

Following treatment:

  • Skin often appears brighter and more hydrated
  • A healthy glow is common
  • Mild redness may occur but typically settles quickly

Most patients return immediately to normal activities.

How Many Treatments Will I Need?

Some patients enjoy HydraGenesis as an occasional skin health treatment.

However, the best results are usually achieved through a course of treatments, allowing improvements in hydration, collagen production and skin quality to build progressively over time.

Your practitioner will recommend a personalised treatment plan based on your skin concerns and goals.

When Is HydraGenesis Particularly Useful?

HydraGenesis works especially well:

  • As a standalone skin health treatment
  • As maintenance between laser courses
  • Before special events when healthier, brighter skin is desired
  • For patients with reactive or barrier-compromised skin
  • During seasonal transitions when skin feels depleted
  • For patients seeking subtle, believable anti-ageing

It is particularly popular amongst patients who want healthier-looking skin without downtime or dramatic intervention.

Why Choose Temple Clinic?

Why Choose Temple Clinic?

At Temple Clinic, we rarely view skin concerns in isolation.

Healthy skin depends on hydration, barrier function, collagen production, inflammation control, lifestyle factors and appropriate skincare.

HydraGenesis forms part of our broader approach to skin health, combining surface refinement with deeper skin renewal to create healthier, stronger and more resilient skin over time.

Our goal is not simply to help your skin look better today, but to help it function better in the years ahead.
